Everything is Connected

Solo Exhibition By Belinda Fox

20 September - 13 October 2013

Belinda Fox's work has been described as having a "seductive beauty that encourages pause and reflection" and a "spiritual element… that identifies with an ideology for responding to conflict in our daily lives". Rich in materiality, the delicately rendered and layered works and images of conflict and tranquillity reveal a broader discourse of fragmentation in our contemporary society.

After graduating from the Victoria College of the Arts in 1996, she developed her practice as a master printer at Port Jackson Press collaborating with great Australian luminaries including John Olsen, Tim Storrier, and the late David Larwill. Having enjoyed an active career for over a decade in Australia, she has been acquired by a number of public and private collections including the National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery Victoria, Wollongong University, Parliament House Melbourne, Charles Sturt University, Queensland University of Technology Art Museum, BHP Billiton Melbourne, ArtBank Australia, and AMP Tokyo.
